The Swar Arpan Cultural Centre, in partnership with Sahaja Yoga Romania, under the patronage of the Indian Embassy, Bucharest, brought forward the “Nirmalanjali” Festival, an 18 days celebration of classical music and dance, between 6th-22nd of August 2016, in 7 major cities across the country (Ploiesti, Brasov, Bistrita, Iasi, Galati, Braila, Bucharest).
The event brings together eminent international artists from India, Romania and Japan:

Neha Verma (India) – Odissi
Sanjay Kansa Banik (India) – tabla
Mihai Sturza (Romania) – bansuri (bamboo flute)
Anne Marie Ene (Romania) – vioară (Hindustani style)
Jun Haraguchi (Japan)- tabla
Dan Huides (Romania) - harmonium
Carmen Dumitrescu - Hindustani vocal
Shinya Ando (Japan) – santoor
Vimla Huideș (Romania) - tabla
The public did not only enjoy the rich ancient Indian culture, but also experienced its spiritual dimension.
The Festival concluded with a week of workshops and lecture-demonstrations of Indian vocal music and Odissi Dance, with the aim to expose the rich and ancient heritage of Motherland India to the public, and to share the experience of its peace, bliss and divinity with all the culture-lovers.
